Football Club

The school football club is run on a Thursday after school, and is open to boys and girls in Years 5/6, in the first instance. The A team (which can, and often does, have girl members) plays in a cup and a league against other schools. The team is made up of 10 players, seven of whom are on the pitch at any one time. We have once reached the semifinal of the cup, and won the league several times over the past years.

Friendly mattches are also played with our girl and year 5 teams at weekends and after school, the focus being on developing a good sporting attitude and enjoyment. Although, we do like winning.

Matches are played in the local Pitshanger Park throughout the first two terms of each year, training taking place th same day when fixtures have not been arranged.
