Each class from year 2 to year 6 democratically elects one boy and one girl to represent them as their School Council members for the year.

The role of the School Council is to raise issues that are of importance. They will speak with their classmates before each meeting to gain their views. There is a set agenda for this.

Our School Council have a very strong voice. They are listened to carefully and many of their ideas are acted upon.    We want our school council to be a group of action.  A group that presents their ideas to different audiences and who collectively produce information for the rest of the school.

A member of the Governing Body likes to attend at least one meeting a year, a Senior Manager from the catering company also attends at least once each year and the children are encouraged to ask them questions.

The School Council reports are shared with the Head teacher and the Governors each term.
