Mayfield is a vibrant, exciting and fun place to learn and develop. 

There is always something happening that will motivate and engage your children in their learning.  From Skipping and Circus Workshops, to Fitness weeks, problem solving games and activities and performing artists and poets, Mayfield is a dynamic place to learn!

There are so many aspects of Mayfield that are outstanding, I would like to list a few.....

Firstly we have first rate, dedicated, committed and talented teaching staff.  Our staff give freely of their time, often running out of hours clubs and activities for the children.  Even our caretaker, Mr Lea runs the football team and our administrator, Mrs Everett, runs a cookery club!  Staff love to be guinea-pigs and willingly volunteer to taste her baking!

We constantly strive to improve ourselves and this is recognised through the numerous awards and accolades that have been bestowed on the school.  These include the following: Investors in People, Arts Mark, BECTA ICT Mark, Healthy Schools, Beacon School and FA Chartered status.
