Year 6 Pupils leave a creative Legacy at Hathaway School with a Transition Project Mosaic
Year 6 pupils from Hathaway School have ensured they will be remembered for years to come by creating an original mosaic which was officially opened by Ealing North MP Steve Pound last week. Taking the extensive school grounds and the natural environment as their inspiration, the pupils worked with mosaic artist Sue Noble to design and make the mosaic, which greets visitors to the school in the reception area. Head teacher Sarah Wilson is very proud of the results of the project:
“We’ve just introduced the new International Primary Curriculum in the school, which allows pupils to really tap into their creativity as they learn. Projects like this mosaic show that the results can be innovative and inspirational. It’s a legacy for the school, and an idea which we hope to continue with our Year 6 pupils for years to come.”
