That first Saturday in June saw tons of cars, pitches and eager buyers at our monthly Car Boot Sale. Hot dogs and hamburgers were pole vaulting off of the grill into the hands of hungry punters. Money was diving into the till, bringing our grand total for the day up to £900!!

This Saturday we want to break all of the records and go over £1000!! Can we do it??? HELP!!! We REALLY NEED you, so if you can spare some time on the 7th of July, contact us!!!

Year 6 parents are currently operating this and this is their LAST SALE!!! Perhaps this could be your contribution to the school! Otherwise, this could be the FINAL CAR BOOT SALE!!!!!

"Up in the Air" went "Up, Up and Away"! A HUGE, GIGANTIC THANK YOU to all of you who helped out on stalls, counted money in the counting room, to all of you who planned, prepped and prayed-THANK YOU!!! It was an incredible day-after much prayer, the weather was clear and balmy; it only showered for about twenty minutes! Paul Heard from M People, along with Mr. Florence, opened our 2007 Summer Fair. We had many aerodynamic creations entered in our Fantastic Flying Competition but Cassius Jackson took the Grande Prize of the remote controlled helicopter! Congratulations Cassius and to all of the others who entered and "soared"! Our Summer Fair raised around 5000 pounds again this year once we take in the money kindly donated by our sponsor, Colin Bibra!! All deserve GOLD MEDALS!!
On Wednesday, the 18th of July, Christ Church School will be holding a special Mass at Christ the Saviour Church at 10:00hrs to commemorate Mr. Florence's illustrious career as Head Master of our school. That evening, Christ the Saviour Church, the Governors of Christ Church School along with the Friends of Christ Church will be hosting a Retirement evening for Mr. Florence!

We need your help!! Each class is being asked to bring various finger foods to share for the evening. A list of classes and food and soft drink requests can be obtained from Jody Cross.

Thank you in advance for making this evening extra special for Mr. Florence!! Also, if you would like to contribute towards a monetary gift for Mr. Florence, please put cheques made payable to Christ Church School Governors in an envelope marked "Headmaster's Retirement". These can be sent or brought into the school office.
The Year 6 Leaver Disco will be held on the 19th of July. Any Year 6 parents who are willing to help on the day or before, please contact me, Jody Cross on 07711793569

Yes, the Friends of Christ Church will be meeting this Monday, the 9th of July at 8pm for a VERY brief meeting about Mr. Florence's Retirement Evening and AGM plans for September!!! Sorry that this is such short notice but please try to attend if you are able!! We truly appreciate it!!
