Governor Training

The Governor Training Team (GST) run a termly training programme for governors and clerks. If your school has bought into GST's Service Level Agreement (SLA) then attendance at the courses is free of charge. If your school has not bought into the SLA then you can still attend any of the sessions but your school will be charged for your attendance. GST will confirm with the school that they are prepared to accept the charge before accepting a booking for a governor from a school who have not purchased the SLA.
The current charge for attending a training session is £92 per person for an evening session and £208 per person for an all day Saturday session.
The majority of training sessions will be held at the new QDI Training Centre, 8th Floor Leon House. The centre is fully accessible for wheel chair users.
Sessions for individual governing bodies can also be arranged. There may be a charge for such sessions.
