School Census 2008
Schools and LAs will be aware that the Autumn School Census is on 2nd October 2008 and the deadline for sending files to the LEA is 22nd October 2008.
As with the previous School Census, the return is required from all maintained Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Special schools, but not Academies, City Technology Colleges or Non-Maintained Special Schools.
As for the Summer census, Post-16 Learning Aims data items need to be collected. Details will be required from Secondary schools with sixth forms and will need to include all learning aims being pursued by pupils in year 12 and above, regardless of their age; and any students in Year 11 or below on 31/08/08 taking Level 3 (or above) qualifications who were on roll for at least one session during the period 15/05/08 to 02/10/08 inclusive.
