Heads and Deputies Conference
'Implementing the Renewed Framework'
19th or 20th September
Regent’s College Conference Centre, Regent’s Park.

Subject Leader Conferences
Termly conferences for Numeracy and Literacy Subject leaders have been arranged to provide regular opportunities to share materials and support implementation of the Frameworks in schools across the LA. At this terms conferences you will receive outlines of the training and events that will be provided locally to support you in implementing the Revised Frameworks. Headteachers will be provided with a full briefing at the Headteacher Conference 8th November.

Financial Support (2006-07)
To support these intiatives all schools will be receiving 14 days supply cover as part of the Standards Fund at £144 per day to be transferred after the first training date in November.

Basis of allocation
Numeracy Subject Leader
3 days -attendance at LA Central Training
2 days -attendance at other LA Framework courses
Literacy Subject Leader
3 days -attendance at LA Central Training
2 days -attendance at other LA Framework courses
Early Years
2 days -attendance at LA Central Training (Early Reading & Application of Phonics -January)
2 days -enabling supporting activity in school

Central Training
Details of the dates of central training events for Literacy, Mathematics and Early Years Leaders together with the allocation of schools to the two training groups A and B.
