PASS

Pupil Attitudes to Self and School

What is PASS?
PASS is an electronic rating scale which provides a profile of the student’s self-regard, perceived capabilities, perseverance, motivation, general work ethic, attitudes to teachers, their school & attendance, preparedness for learning and response to the curriculum.

Pupil voices
There are many ways of trying to hear how children and young people are feeling about themselves and PASS is one way that enables the child and young persons voice to be heard not only by the teacher working most closely with them but also by teachers with a variety of responsibilities for improving the school as a learning community for all their pupils.
