Pilot transfer protocol for children with SEN
The LA is encouraging settings to pilot the protocol detailed here during the 2007-2008 transfer process prior to publicising an agreed version in Autumn 2007.

Read the letter detailing the Protocol sent to Primary and Special Schools, Children's Centres and PVI Nurseries.

Your views on the protocol and how LA Services can help should be fed back to Pat Kelly and Ruth Draper at any time but particularly in September when you will be asked about how this version has worked in practice.

Protocol Statement
The protocol identifies When and What actions Parents, Nurseries, Schools and Professionals from Nursery to Reception should take to facilitate the transition of children with a statement of Special Education Needs or School Action Plus.
