Code of Conduct

All pupils have the right to feel safe, to be happy and to learn. In order to protect these rights the following rules must be kept by everyone.

Attendance & Punctuality Code

- Attend Bridge Education without any unauthorised absence

- Arrive on time in the morning and be punctual throughout the day

- All Absences to be authorised by note from home, on the day of

return explaining the reason for absence.

Behaviour Code

- Respect yourself

- Respect others

- Show good manners

- Treat other people’s work and belongings with respect.

Commitment to Learning Code

- Always work hard

- In class, keep busy and allow others to work

- Complete all work on time.

Communication Code

- One person speaks, others listen

- Use appropriate language.

Dress Code

- Students at Bridge Education may wear clothes of their own choice - We expect students to dress respectfully and appropriately for a school environment

- Dress should be smart/casual and avoid extremes of fashion.

Healthy & Safety Code

- Follow safety instructions at all times

- Food should all be eaten at break or lunch time

- Bridge Education has a no smoking policy during school hours or near the building.

- Pupils are not permitted to leave the premises without permission from member of staff.
