A Level Results – Copthall School, Barnet Thursday 20th August 2009
We are delighted to announce another excellent set of A Level results at Copthall School. This year 101 candidates sat advanced levels, an increase from 88 last year. 49.3% of grades achieved were A or B. The average UCAS point score per entry has increased from 85 to 86 and the percentage of entries obtaining the top A grade increased from 22.1% to 22.3%.
Our congratulations to students on an outstanding set of A Level results. This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment to learning exhibited by our students, the excellent standards of teaching delivered by staff and the support given to students and the school by parents. These results also represent excellent added value in what is a truly comprehensive school.
The individual level of achievement this year has been exceptionally good across the 25 subjects and the range of students.
