From Friday, 1st July 2005 a new login screen will appear.

Why are these changes necessary?

First - to allow you to access resources from different content suppliers using the one ID & password. An increasing number of content suppliers will be allowing you to see their content just by using the same ID and password.

Second - to allow you to access the same set of resources no matter whether you are in school, at home, in a library or anywhere else with Internet access.

What do I need to do differently?

Nothing. After Friday, when the new screen appears, carry on using your usual ID and password.

Will I need to keep typing in my full username each time?

No. If you have "cookies" enabled on your machine it will remember your login details the next time.

Where will I get help if something goes wrong?
