The LGfL Creative Toolkit offers a wide range of creative tools for children to explore, create & share their creativity, but all within a eSafe environment
(BETA Version)
www.creativetoolkit.lgfl.net

The LGfL Creative Toolkit includes a number of creative tools including J2E (Publishing), JIT (Infant online toolkit), J2Spotlight (Animation), and J2Vote (Voting system).

These tools are brought together by J2Webby, a simple but powerful teacher moderation system that allows teachers to check all children’s work before it is published online.

Every LGfL connected school has its own Blogging / Publishing site within the Creative Toolkit system which can be customised to look like the school website via the J2Webby tool.

A particular feature of the J2Webby system is the way in which anyone can comment on a blog posting, but the comment will not be made public until the teacher has moderated the comment (via J2Webby)

This is has real potential to engage parents and the wider school community in the work produced by the children in the school.

Please note that the LGfL Creative Toolkit is being made available to LGfL users in a 'BETA' version from December 2011.
This means that although we are confident that the system will work and is ‘fit for purpose’ - there may be some remaining minor issues that made need correcting to ensure teh tools are optimised for London teachers.
LGfL always welcomes feedback from users reporting any problems – to help improve the overall quality of the service provided.
