LGfL has worked in partnership with The Royal Collection to create a unique resource about the daily work of The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace.

 

Exclusive access has been granted to LGfL to film the key staff members as they go about their daily work. The resource features extensive video resources showing the techniques and rationale as to why centuries old traditions continue to support the Royal Household and the significance they have for wider society.​​​​​

 

The LGfL ‘The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace’ portal will feature an extensive range of resources including:​

Her Majesty the Queen has granted permission for LGfL to feature high resolution photographs and scans from the Royal Collection and Royal Archive.

All resources will have accompanying suggested activities that are supporting by the online resources.

A ‘Resource bank feature allows access to the wide range of resources in a format that makes the resource suitable for Key Stages 2 to 4. The resource will feature comprehensive curriculum mapping to support its use across the curriculum.

​​KS1-room.jpgPearson has created complimentary Fronter rooms for KS1 and KS2 users of the Royal mews resource.

The downloadable rooms offer additional functionality and activities to enhance the use of the resources further.

All video resources have embed codes that allow for the integration the videos into learning Platform use.

USO PadlockWhy does it ask me to log in when I am not in school?

You will need to use your LGfL USO log in to access this LGfL Premium Art and Citizenship resource when you are not on an LGfL school broadband connection.

NEN ProviderAny school that is connected to the National Education Network (such as via your LGfL Broadband Connection) will be able to access this resource when in school.

Users outside of London will not be able to access this resource on any other connection (e.g. Your home)
