J2Webby is a simple but powerful teacher moderation system that allows teachers to check all children’s work before it is published online.
Every LGfL connected school has its own Blogging / Publishing site within the Creative Toolkit system which can be customised to look like the school website via the J2Webby tool.
A particular feature of the J2Webby system is the way in which anyone can comment on a blog posting, but the comment will not be made public until the teacher has moderated the comment.
This is has real potential to engage parents and the wider school community in the work produced by the children in the school.

Please note that the LGfL Creative Toolkit is being made available to LGfL users in a 'BETA' version from mid December 2011. This means that although the system will work and is ‘fit for purpose’ - there may be some small issues that made need correcting after initial early adopter use by London teachers.
LGfL always welcomes feedback from users reporting any problems – to help improve the overall quality of the service provided. Please send any feedback to Contentsupport@lgfl.org.uk
