24-07-2012: Sophos changed to LGfL 2.0 hosting
Move from LGfL1 Sophos to LGfL 2.0 LGfL 2.0 Sophos
Today the remaining LGfL1 hosted Sophos service migrated from LGfL1 (provided by Synetrix) to the LGfL 2.0 service (supported by Atomwide).
Schools which use the Enterprise version (i.e. house their own Sophos server) should (if not already installed) update to Enterprise Console version 5.0. For any school using Enterprise Console below v 4.7, the advice is to un-install the current copy and install version 5.0 as a fresh installation.
Schools downloading anti-virus protection to PCs/laptops directly from LGfL servers, should (if not already installed) download Sophos antivirus v10 for Windows (or the MAC version for Apple kit) via www.sophos.lgfl.net.
